Luo Bin left the Mountain Gate, entered Floating Tortoise Mountain to rescue Huang Ying, and then pursued Primordial Calculation on his own. He confronted the Death-Prison Yama Ghost and the City God Temple’s failures, rejected Heaven’s rules, and began arranging burials for the drowned infants as someone watched him.

Arc 49The Broken Mountain Gate

Luo Bin and Xu Lu survived conflict at Heaven Origin, confronted the Bright Consort, and found that caution had broken Xu Lu’s trust in his lineage. The arc ended with Xu Lu leaving the Mountain Gate with Luo Bin and Fourth Master Gray missing.

  • Luo Bin restored Xu Jiuqu’s soul, and Xu Jiuqu stopped the ritual and drew a soul-suppressing talisman in his own blood.
  • Xu Lu recovered his memories, learned Xu Shanding had sealed the burial shaft, and hurried down the mountain to help Luo Bin.
  • Xu Changzhi accused Luo Bin’s group of murder, but Xu Lu stopped the elders from killing him and made him the new Third Consecrator.

Arc 50The Living Mountain

Luo Bin and his companions entered Floating Tortoise Mountain to uncover its secrets and rescue Huang Ying from Li Yunyi. After confronting Li Yunyi and the Main Corpse, Luo Bin attacked the mountain’s practitioners for answers, then set out to check on the Feng residence as footsteps approached.

  • Xu Lu, Luo Bin, and Bai Xian entered Floating Tortoise Mountain, where Blackblood Vine, Moss Eaters, and a voice calling Luo Bin back threatened them.
  • Luo Bin and Xu Lu learned that Blackblood Vine had overrun the mountain’s settlements and that Li Yunyi had become its puppet, while Xu Lu continued toward the Feng Family to investigate.
  • Luo Bin’s group reached Dai Zhixiong’s protected wooden house and used Golden Core Pills to mask their Corpse Qi before crossing a chasm and encountering the Main Corpse.
  • Luo Bin reached the Feng Family and found that Li Yunyi had controlled its members and forced Huang Ying to make pills from her own flesh.

Arc 51A New Path for Luo Bin

Luo Bin escaped Floating Tortoise Mountain and withdrew from his old companions to practice Primordial Calculation, confronting injustice in the neighborhood and taking Zhang Ze as his disciple. He continued questioning Heaven as an unseen force struck him, and Fourth Master Gray did not answer his call.

  • Luo Bin helped Xu Lu lead the Feng Family out of Floating Tortoise Mountain after Li Qingxiu took over Li Yunyi’s body and the Blackblood Vine attacked her.
  • After parting from Xu Lu and Bai Xian, Luo Bin gave Xu Lu the stone brain and chose to pursue Primordial Calculation on his own.

Luo Bin pursued the Death-Prison Yama Ghost to the Righteous Pagoda, where he uncovered the City God Temple’s failures and escaped the ghost’s memory prison. After rejecting Heaven’s rules and acknowledging his responsibility toward others, he began arranging burials for the drowned infants and sensed someone watching him.

  • Luo Bin discovered that Netherworld Office officers were no longer collecting souls, then found the City God Temple’s On-Duty City God and opera troupe dead.
  • Zheng Mi gathered five On-Duty City Gods to hunt the Death-Prison Yama Ghost, but their broken Netherworld Bells led them to suspect that Luo Bin was hiding a ghost.
