Luo Bin pursued Li Yunyi through Cabinet Mountain, then emerged on Floating Tortoise Mountain and uncovered the danger and deception surrounding its communal dwellings. He set out for the summit alone while the Group Dwelling residents tried to bring him back before nightfall.

• Yuan Yinxin’s trap failed to stop Li Yunyi, and Luo Bin used the Five-Element Seal and knives to defeat the Corpse-Talisman-controlled fighters before confronting Li Yunyi.
• Luo Bin pursued Li Yunyi through the Cedar Forest and Mountain God Temple, where he battled evil spirits and encountered Qin Jiumo before following them through a hidden passage.
• The passage brought Luo Bin to a mountain road, where he searched for Li Yunyi amid crowds of evil spirits and eventually collapsed from hunger and exhaustion.
• Gu Yiren mourned Luo Bin and resolved to return to Cabinet Mountain Village to avenge him, while Luo Bin woke on Floating Tortoise Mountain and met Zhan Qing.
• Zhan Qing described the ruined Taoist Grounds, Blackblood Vines, and communal dwellings, while Luo Bin studied feng shui and grew suspicious of the residents’ account.
• Luo Bin discovered the Observers outside the Group Dwelling and learned that sixteen residents had to stay inside each night to keep its protections working.
• Zhan Qing, Zhan Kong, You Yang, and He Shen tried to detain Luo Bin until their missing feng shui master returned, but Luo Bin escaped and learned that He Shen had lied about the way to the summit.
• Luo Bin determined that the summit lay north and fought off an attacking evil spirit, while Hu Jin and the Group Dwelling residents set out to lure him back before nightfall.

Luo Bin struggled against his changing body while seeking Li Yunyi and a way to escape the schemes around Floating Tortoise Mountain. After exploring the Taoist Grounds and the Hexagram Path, he returned to find Zhan Qing and his companions controlling the Feng Family.

• Luo Bin escaped Moss Eater and traveled with Huang Ying and Fifth Master Feng, while Yuan Yinxin plotted to use him to claim Floating Tortoise Mountain’s legacy.
• Luo Bin joined the Feng Family, survived Feng Yi’s attempt to kill him, and learned Mountain-and-Water Divination as his fingers grew increasingly gray.
• Luo Bin found a skinned corpse on the mountain and helped expose Feng Liang as an Observer before the group reached the Main Household.
• Drawn away by his changing fingers, Luo Bin crossed a cliff, hid inside Qin Jiumo’s coffin from Li Yunyi, and later turned Qin Jiumo’s body into Lamp Oil.
• Luo Bin followed Li Yunyi to the Taoist Grounds and realized he and Yuan Yinxin had been used as pawns by Shangguan Xingyue and the Lord of Cabinet Mountain.
• Luo Bin followed Li Yunyi onto the dangerous Hexagram Path, forced Li Yu to guide him, and watched Li Yu die when he tried to pull Luo Bin forward.
• Luo Bin used his transformed body to walk the Hexagram Path to the summit, found no Rift or main Blackblood Vine, and left after waiting seven days for Li Yunyi.
• Luo Bin returned to the Feng Family and found Zhan Qing, Zhan Kong, You Yang, and Hu Jin holding its patriarchs captive, and they summoned Feng Qiang and questioned him about Luo Bin.

Luo Bin rescued Huang Ying from the Song Family, destroyed its stores, and continued toward the heart of Floating Tortoise Mountain with Hu Jin. Their shortcut proved to be a trap that was transforming them into evil spirits, so Luo Bin sought another way forward while hiding Hu Jin and Huang Ying.

• Luo Bin freed Feng Family elders from the formation, uncovered Hu Jin’s knowledge of a route into Floating Tortoise Mountain, and left with him after securing the Feng Family grounds.
• Hu Jin led Luo Bin through underground passages toward the mountain’s source of life force, where Luo Bin’s left hand helped him find the correct route.
• Luo Bin and Hu Jin escaped the Mountain God Temple’s evil spirits and headed toward the Song estate as Song Tianzhu seized Huang Ying and the Feng Family’s supplies.
• Luo Bin fought off Song Tianzhu’s men, then chose to rescue Huang Ying and infiltrated the Song estate with Hu Jin.
• Luo Bin killed Song Renshu, helped Huang Ying and Hu Jin escape, and set fires while stealing the Song Family’s warding objects and talismans.
• Luo Bin burned the Song estate and killed Li Tianqian after the Taoist Grounds practitioner unleashed evil spirits and tried to control Moss Eater with the Black Blood Vine.
• Luo Bin reunited with Hu Jin and Huang Ying, gave them protective artifacts, and led them toward the mountain’s interior while Shangguan Xingyue watched from above.
• Luo Bin saw signs of decay on himself, Hu Jin, and Huang Ying, recognized the passage as a trap, and hid the other two in the temple’s roof beams while seeking a safer route.

Luo Bin uncovered Li Yunyi’s control of the Blackblood Vine, escaped Floating Tortoise Mountain with Hu Jin’s help, and learned that Huang Ying had survived Shangguan Xingyue’s attack. He tracked down Song Tianzhu and brought him to Huang Ying, while evil spirits gathered around them.

• Luo Bin entered the cave beneath Floating Tortoise Mountain, disrupted Li Yunyi’s control of the Blackblood Vine, and helped the Taoists defeat him, but the mountain’s paths disappeared as the vines spread.
• Shangguan Xingyue tried to lead Luo Bin away with Zhang Yunxi, but Luo Bin rejected her plan and later left her behind after Hu Jin told him she had attacked Huang Ying.
• Luo Bin found Huang Ying’s bloodied message, grieved for her, and set out to find Song Tianzhu, who was carrying Huang Ying’s clothes and shoes.
• Luo Bin tracked Song Tianzhu to an abandoned house, caught him when he tried to leave, and brought him to the place where Huang Ying had died.
• Luo Bin told Huang Ying that he had returned her clothes and named Song Tianzhu her first offering as evil spirits gathered around them.
