Zhang Yang stopped dwelling on the past and sent a wisp of his will back before Pangu.
"Pangu greets Father God," Pangu said respectfully.
He knew that Zhang Yang had recovered his memories.
The title Father God had originally come from the Demon Gods' way of addressing Zhang Yang.
Zhang Yang helped Pangu up and said, moved, "Thank you for all your hard work over the years."
Pangu sighed with emotion. "What hard work? Even you sealed your memories and worked alongside everyone else. What right do I have to complain?"
Zhang Yang patted Pangu's shoulder and said nothing more.
They both needed some time to adjust to their identities, or things would be rather awkward.
After some thought, Zhang Yang said, "Don't reveal my identity to any living being. From now on, there is no Lord of the Universe, only Zhang Yang, Lord of the Human Race. Once you return, you will become chairman of the Cosmic Elders Council."
Pangu smiled wryly. "Chairman again? Then I'll serve for a while, help the Human Race grow a little faster, and stand this last watch for them."

Once we win this war, we'll spread the story of your deeds throughout the universe. Everything you did was for the universe."
Remembering his efforts over all those epochs, Pangu's eyes reddened.
