After carefully examining the Female Priestess, the {Insect Shaper} shook his head. "This is control through mental power. It looks like we'll have to take her back first."
Stone Mother Gaia rolled her eyes at the {Insect Shaper} and pointed at the chaotic, noisy Alternate-Dimensional Space outside. "How are we supposed to get out now? Just try moving the Insect Race's warship!"
The {Insect Shaper} smiled. "Lady Gaia, don't worry. The three of you should stay here with the Female Priestess. I'll handle the rest."
After the {Insect Shaper} left, the cabin door suddenly closed, and a screen displayed the scene inside the ship.
A squad of the Black Market Guard Army boarded the Insect Race's warship, led by a guard captain wearing Advanced Ionized Combat Armor.
The {Insect Shaper} stood at the entrance to greet them politely and deliberately asked, "What brings you here?"
The guard captain bowed respectfully. "Greetings, honored guest. Several Interstellar Pirates have infiltrated the area. We've come to conduct an inspection to ensure your safety."
The {Insect Shaper} smiled. "Please, help yourselves!"
The guard captain was rather surprised. In his view, the Insect Race had been the most likely to seize the Female Priestess. Both the Taita Race and the Rasha Race had already been subdued, yet the Insect Race alone had made no move.
There were only two possibilities: either the Insect Race had already succeeded, or they had never been involved. Given their hatred of Zhang Hongjun and their desire for the Female Priestess, however, the guard captain leaned toward the first possibility.
Yet the Insect Race's behavior upon his boarding their warship was utterly unexpected. He had assumed he would encounter at least some resistance, but instead, they had given him free rein.
