The Halley Legion's assorted Interstellar Pirates warships had already drawn close to the planet that once belonged to the lizard beastmen and was now called Dachuwa by the Locarno.
The Insect Race fleet assembled in the starfield surrounding Dachuwa to block the Interstellar Pirates' invasion.
Mina, a Matriarch of the Insect Race, boarded the Halley Legion's main warship, the Blackheart, alone. Lambert, the legion's first mate, received her.
The moment they met, Lambert, whose vicious-looking face bristled with steel needles, asked disdainfully, "So your Insect Race found the Locarno and wanted to talk to us?"
Mina sneered. "We had a misunderstanding with the Locarno earlier, but we've settled it. There's nothing here for you anymore. Go back where you came from."
Lambert doubled over with laughter, and the guards around him joined in. His laughter stopped abruptly, and he roared, "You think far too highly of yourselves! You'll pay dearly for your arrogance!"
Mina smiled. "First Mate Lambert, perhaps you should check your radar before deciding what tone to take with us."
Lambert glanced at the radar operator, who reported with a slight tremble, "There are approximately three hundred thousand warships on the radar."
Lambert stared at the smiling Mina in astonishment. "Did you deliberately lure us here? Are you planning to wipe us out in one fell swoop?"
Mina shook her head. "I already told you. We had a misunderstanding with the Locarno. We knew you'd had trouble with them before, so we invited you here. But now that we've settled our differences with the Locarno, there's no need for you to come."
Lambert roared, "Do you think the Halley Legion comes and goes at your beck and call?"
Mina retorted coldly, "What? Are you planning to go to war? If that's your request, we can grant it immediately."
