The Insect Race used its meteorite tactic again, successfully slipping the Progenitors and Parasitic Ticks onto Kade Star in a state of false death.
As Shusha had expected, the Kade were all busy mustering their forces and preparing for war. They had little time to watch the meteor shower falling from the sky.
A few more sensitive individuals had their doubts, but a single remark silenced them: "We lost so many warships in the battle of Dondoli. What's so strange about a meteor shower?"
Many Kade civilians even prayed beneath the meteor shower in memory of the soldiers who had fallen at Dondoli, wishing them a swift ascent to the Divine Temple.
Little did they know that these meteors were not the souls of Kade soldiers, but an Insect Race army that would bring them utter destruction.
The insect eggs in a state of false death could not be identified at all, and they had landed in relatively remote areas. Within half a day, the eggs began to awaken.
The awakened Progenitors and Parasitic Ticks did not launch an invasion immediately. Instead, they scattered, silently infesting weaker Kade creatures to increase their own attack power.
Meanwhile, a Kade delegation flew toward Dorne Planet. They stopped at the farthest safe distance and sent the Insect Race a request for peace talks.
To their surprise, however, the Insect Race answered their request with cannon fire.
Seated on his throne, Zhang Fan smiled as he watched the Kade envoys turn to cosmic dust. "With such a fine opponent, why would I ever negotiate peace with you? This galaxy will be mine."
The Insect Race fleet began advancing in full force toward Kade Star. After the Insect Race destroyed the envoy ship, every Kade warship returned to defend the Kade Star Sector.
