Sun Binghe came out of the office and spotted the newly opened gift shop on the first floor. It was quite spacious, with an array of goods on its shelves. Under the lights, even the price tags looked impressively steep.
Sun Binghe normally had no interest in such things, but as he shifted to one side, he caught sight of a pair of Spring Festival couplets through the glass. Gold lettering on a red background, with adorably plump characters and a three-dimensional lucky cat beside the lower couplet.
Sun Binghe pushed the door open and went inside.
"Welcome."
Sun Binghe gave a slight nod and walked straight over to the couplets. He picked them up and read the New Year greetings and blessings for the coming year. The more he looked, the more he liked them. He gestured to the sales assistant. "Wrap these up, please."
