Feng Yiqian took a moment to process it, and his face turned scarlet the next second.
D-d-d-d-did that!!!?
"Butler Tao..."
"B-Butler Tao!!" Feng Yiqian snapped out of it, ran to the door, and hammered on it. "Come out!! My big brother is spreading dirty rumors about you!!"
The door shook with a series of loud thuds.
Tao Zhiyan had been almost asleep when Feng Yiqian woke him up.
He frowned slightly, rolled over, and covered his head with a pillow, trying to put the world on mute.
Unfortunately, Feng Yiqian remained doggedly persistent, pounding on the door without stopping.
He shouted as he knocked, seemingly determined to get Tao Zhiyan out.
His voice went from indignation to heartbreak, then finally to acceptance.
Within a few minutes, Feng Yiqian had stuck his butt out and spent ages peering through the gap in the door. After much deliberation, he changed tactics. "Sister-in-law, open up!! I'm my brother!!"
"Sister-in-law, open the door! I really am my brother!"
Feng Yiqian lowered his voice, trying to imitate Feng Ze. "Baby, open up. I'm back from fooling arou-ow!"
Before he could finish, someone kicked him in the butt.
Feng Yiqian stumbled half a step and nearly fell. He looked up in surprise to find his brother standing in front of him.
"Don't disturb Butler Tao." Wearing a black shirt, Feng Ze headed downstairs while fastening his cuffs.
Normally, Feng Yiqian would have thrown himself at Feng Ze the moment he saw him.
But not today. He stood rooted to the spot, clutching his butt.
Feng Ze stopped and looked back. "Come here."
Feng Yiqian wrinkled his nose and turned his head away, ignoring him.
Feng Ze paused for two seconds, then asked, "Not coming?"
Feng Yiqian continued to ignore him.
"All right."
