Tao Zhiyan's gaze was so sharp that Feng Ze paused.
He thought for a few seconds, then explained quietly, "I decided to come back at the last minute, so I didn't tell you yesterday."
Tao Zhiyan narrowed his eyes.
Why are you telling me this, Mr. One-Man-One-Woman?
Seeing Tao Zhiyan's expression, Feng Ze grew even more earnest. "Really. I'm not lying."
Faced with Feng Ze's serious expression, Tao Zhiyan unconsciously tightened his grip on the umbrella handle.
The rain grew heavier, blurring their surroundings, and the two stood there staring at each other in the downpour.
The umbrella was still a little too small. Rain soaked Tao Zhiyan's shoulder, leaving a wet patch.
"Young master," Aunt Li called, "shall we go inside? The umbrella's too small. Our guest is getting wet."
Feng Ze turned back and nodded.
They entered the house looking somewhat bedraggled, all of them wet to varying degrees.
Mr. Su stood in the entryway and patted down his clothes, then cleared his throat and gave his daughter a meaningful look.
Miss Su understood immediately. She took off her jacket and casually handed it to Tao Zhiyan.
Tao Zhiyan had just put away the umbrella. Seeing the jacket, he instinctively reached out to take it.
Miss Su tucked her hair behind her ear and stepped sideways, moving a little closer to Feng Ze.

Tao Zhiyan looked up.
What are you doing?
Apparently deciding that wasn't enough, Miss Su undid another button on her blouse, opening the collar to reveal her impressive curves.
She stepped forward, deliberately twisted her ankle, and lunged toward Feng Ze with speed and precision.
As though sensing it coming, Feng Ze turned sideways and let her fall into empty air, but Miss Su still managed to grab his arm.
Wow.
Tao Zhiyan blinked.
