Ning Ke rewound time, saved Lou Yunxiao, and secured the Lou Family Heirloom Token before returning to a later point in the story. Disguised as a new disciple, he reunited with Lou Yunxiao, helped him find a place in the Sword Sect, and their growing closeness left Lou wondering if Ning Ke was the big sister who once saved him.

• Ning Ke used his foxfire and part of his Demon Core to save Lou Yunxiao, then trained him to balance demonic and orthodox cultivation in the Demon Soul River.
• Ning Ke sent Lou Yunxiao to the Human Realm with the Lou Family Heirloom Token, completing his mission before waking in the dungeon with Lou Yunxiao demanding to know where his big sister was.
• Ning Ke used Time Reversal again and accepted a new mission that required him to take the role of A Ke and sacrifice himself for Lou Yunxiao.
• Ning Ke joined the Sword Sect alongside Ning Xiaoxiao, then intervened when the sect leaders debated whether Lou Yunxiao should remain imprisoned.

Ning Ke and Lou Yunxiao’s growing attachment came to a head in the Qianyuan Secret Realm, where Lou Yunxiao was captured and turned into a living dead by the sealed Great Demon. Ning Ke restored Lou Yunxiao’s heart and sight, then sacrificed himself to reseal the Demon, leaving Lou Yunxiao outside the palace with his memories returned.

• Ning Ke spared the wolf cub, sent him to guard Ning Family Village, and traveled with Lou Yunxiao and Ning Xiaoxiao to the Sect Tournament, where he rejected Zhuang Yusheng’s advances.
• At the tournament, Ning Ke and Lou Yunxiao each won their matches and drew in the final, while Lou Yunxiao’s jealousy and tenderness toward Ning Ke became increasingly clear.
• After the Qianyuan Secret Realm opened, Ning Ke and Lou Yunxiao were separated, and Lou Yunxiao and Ning Xiaoxiao discovered that a Great Demon was sealed beneath the desert.
• Lou Yunxiao entered the underground palace, resisted the Demon’s control by stabbing himself through the heart, and was turned into a living dead when the Demon took over his body.
• Ning Ke found Lou Yunxiao in the palace and comforted him, while the sealing array kept Lou Yunxiao trapped because his spiritual and demonic energies were unbalanced.
• Ning Ke repeatedly gave Lou Yunxiao heart’s blood to convert his demonic power, and Lou Yunxiao reached the Nascent Soul stage and confessed his feelings for Ning Ke.

• Ning Ke fought the awakened Demon while restoring the seal, completed its final rune, and died as the stele resealed the Demon.

Ning Ke disguised himself as a monk to obtain the Buddha Lotus Lamp and keep Lou Yunxiao’s demonic thoughts in check, but Lou Yunxiao recognized him. Together they helped defeat a demoness and seal the ghost soul grass threatening Northern Tour City, while Lou Yunxiao learned of a Secret Realm connected to the Flowing Cloud Sect and resolved to enter it.

• Lou Yunxiao found Ning Ke dead after Ning Ke gave him his eyes and reinforced the Great Demon’s seal, while Ning Xiaoxiao defended Lou Yunxiao from the Sword Sect disciples and took Ning Ke home.
• Ning Ke watched Lou Yunxiao grieve over his body, then returned to the Demon Palace and discovered that demonized Xiao Lü had killed Xiao Lan.
• After learning that devils were possessing demons, Ning Ke investigated the Great Demon’s ruins and fought Lou Yunxiao and the sect masters at Ning Family Village before leaving to join the Buddhist Order as Mingxin.
• Ning Ke befriended Wugou, who offered the Buddha Lotus Lamp, and joined the Demon-Slaying Team in Northern Tour City, where Lou Yunxiao recognized him as A Ke.
• Ning Ke identified a formation surrounding Northern Tour City and organized its defense as demons and ghost soul grass attacked, while Lou Yunxiao fought the demoness and Ning Xiaoxiao defeated the demon guarding the Metal Array.
• Ning Ke and his companions reinforced the Five Elements Formation, and Wugou used the Buddha Lotus Lamp to help seal the demoness and wither the ghost soul grass.
• Lou Yunxiao discovered that he could no longer control the demonic energy he had absorbed, while Cui Xuecheng took Ning Xiaoxiao to inspect the Great Demon’s seal.
• After learning that the Secret Realm at the Flowing Cloud Sect’s former site admitted Spirit Transformation cultivators and had no known exit, Lou Yunxiao insisted on entering it.

Ning Ke relived Lou Yunxiao’s past, helped him and Bai Wanru fight the Great Demons, and witnessed Lou Yunxiao destroy himself to defeat Nan Lou. After learning the truth behind the Flowing Cloud Sect’s destruction, Ning Ke woke in the present and asked Gao Ze to keep his identity from Lou Yunxiao.

• Ning Ke entered the Secret Realm with Lou Yunxiao and Wugou, where the realm separated them and sent Ning Ke into the past as a white fox.
• Ning Ke stayed with Lou Yunxiao, returned to Qingqiu with him, and gained the ability to speak and take human form.
• Nan Lou plotted against Lou Yunxiao while the demons advanced, and Bai Wanru completed the Buddha Lotus Lamp to defend Red River City.
• Bai Wanru died after fighting the Great Demons, and Jiu Yuan arrived as Nan Lou turned many of the city’s residents into living dead.
• Lou Yunxiao and Jiu Yuan battled Nan Lou, while Ning Ke recovered his power and helped seal the demon’s severed limbs.
• Lou Yunxiao split the Three Realms and destroyed himself to eliminate Nan Lou, and Jiu Yuan gathered his scattered soul.
• Ten thousand years later, Ning Ke learned Nan Lou had possessed Lou Jing and corrupted the Flowing Cloud Sect, then destroyed young Lou Yunxiao’s cultivation and eyes to stop the demon worm.
• Ning Ke woke and told Gao Ze that he had burned the demonized disciples after Nan Lou escaped, then asked him to hide that Ning Ke was the Demon Venerable.
