Ning Ke and Lou Yunxiao uncovered the Mad God’s plot, while Ning Ke left Lou Yunxiao to seek a way to defeat the god. The story left Lou Yunxiao facing Nan Shier on the Qianyuan Continent as the demon recognized him from ten thousand years ago.

• Ning Ke revealed to Lou Yunxiao that he was A Ke, but Lou Yunxiao confessed his love and refused to let him go.

Ning Ke returned to the Qianyuan Continent and was framed for atrocities committed by Nan Lou, while Lou Yunxiao struggled to trust him and protect him. After the truth emerged and Ning Ke’s allies reunited with him, Jiu Yuan offered to take him home, and Lou Yunxiao let him go.

• Lou Yunxiao reached the Mahayana Stage, learned Nan Lou had taken Nan Shier’s head, and discovered that Mingxin was Ning Ke, who had rejected his confession.
• Nan Lou impersonated Ning Ke to slaughter civilians and turn the Human Realm against him, while Lou Yunxiao and the sect leaders searched for the missing Demon Venerable.
• Ning Ke confronted Nan Lou in a bloodstained city, then faced Lou Yunxiao, who demanded answers about the killings and Ning Ke’s past.
• Abbot Wujue stabbed Ning Ke and used his blood to brand him a demon’s accomplice, but Lou Yunxiao carried him to the Sword Sect and imprisoned him for treatment.

Ning Ke and Lou Yunxiao united the Demon Clan and cultivators against Jiang He and the Sun God, but the battle cost them many allies and Ning Ke’s life. Wei Yuan restored Ning Ke’s soul, and Lou Yunxiao asked him to erase Ning Ke’s memories of Qianyuan Continent and send him home.

• Ning Ke accepted Lou Yunxiao’s devotion, reconciled with Jiu Yuan, married Lou Yunxiao, and prepared the Demon Clan for war.
• Ning Ke led an allied force to Mount Qiandu, where they fought Nan Lou’s puppets and living dead before Feng Yu revealed his allegiance to Jiang He.
• Jiang He destroyed Heaven’s Way, but Ning Ke reversed the devastation at the cost of three tails and rescued Heaven’s Way.
• Feng Yu reversed Jiang He’s soul-draining formations and reunited with him, and the two perished together in Nirvana Flame.

Ning Ke reunited with Lou Yunxiao and their family in the modern world, then returned with them to the Qianyuan Continent after his death. A parallel bad-ending plot followed, where Lou Yunxiao tortured Ning Ke and threatened the imprisoned Demon Clan.

• Yu Tang restored the dead souls and Qianyuan Continent, returned Ning Ke’s soul to its modern-world life, and left Lou Yunxiao with a plan from Wei Yuan to pursue him.
• Ning Ke woke in the hospital, discovered unusual strength, and began reconnecting with memories tied to Lou Yunxiao and the novel Ask the Heavenly Dao.
• Lou Yunxiao returned to Ning Ke through the Buddhist Prayer Beads, supported his acting ambitions, and watched as memories began breaking through Ning Ke’s seal.
• Ning Ke reunited with Lou Yunxiao and the family and friends who had returned to the modern world, revealing that he had recovered his memories.
• Ning Ke and Lou Yunxiao built a life together, and after five years Ning Ke won Best Actor before dying and agreeing to return to the Qianyuan Continent with Lou Yunxiao.
• Ning Ke woke in a new body with Nine-Tailed Fox blood, reunited with his companions, and eventually ascended with them to the Divine Realm.
