I wrote a kingdom-building novel. Its results were so-so: 127 initial subscriptions. I kept my head down and wrote, and by the time it ended, it averaged 630 subscriptions per chapter.

It was pretty much a flop, but I made my peace with that. This was probably just my level.

The book didn't reach two million characters because the advanced technology in the later stages demanded too much theoretical knowledge. I really couldn't keep writing. I got stuck every day, and it was miserable, so I ended the kingdom-building novel.
