When Ke Meng first saw how the toy wand was used, he felt a powerful sense of déjà vu, as though he had seen it somewhere before.
Now he understood. Transforming did not mean turning into a giant.
There were now four unconscious people on the floor, all with green faces, as though they had been exposed to poison gas.
Tang Jin, a Level-A Member beside him, took out a containment item. Aside from Director Lei, he was the second person capable of protecting Ke Meng.
This containment item was a small, exquisitely crafted Exquisite Pagoda. Its base was just the size of an adult's palm, and it stood seven stories tall.
"Capture, capture, capture, capture!" Tang Jin held the pagoda in his left hand and raised his right index finger, repeating the word four times.
The four unconscious people on the floor immediately shrank, darting into the Seven-Story Exquisite Pagoda like flying insects.
Ke Meng glanced at Tang Jin's seven-story pagoda. Amid a string of "Shrink, shrink, shrink," the Exquisite Pagoda became tiny, and Tang Jin tucked it into his trouser pocket.
"If Director Lei can't deal with that parasite, I'll put you in the pagoda immediately and make a quick getaway. Don't worry," Tang Jin assured him with a wink.
Ke Meng had nothing to say and continued watching the drone feed.
By then, the investigator whose eyes shone green and whose skin revealed a network of green blood vessels had reached the restroom doorway.
Director Lei did not bother with questions or banter. He went straight into action, delivering a Lightspeed Punch to the man's face.
Bang!
The sound of a skull shattering came from the scene, and blood and brain matter splattered out.
The green-skinned investigator was sent flying in an instant, his head bursting apart.
