There was no avoiding those dark circles. After fighting all night, he had been dragged back up at short notice to investigate with Ke Meng.
Luo Yuan had gone to sleep on the Sweet-Dream Pillow. There were a whole lot of people waiting to use it, and Di Ping's turn had yet to come.
"Nothing yet. We need to bring that book over too," Ke Meng said.
"The Whale County Travelogue?"
"Yes." Ke Meng nodded.
The book had already been purified earlier, but since the enemy had targeted it, it had to be a key item.
Di Ping made a call to arrange it, then started chatting idly with Ke Meng again. "Come to think of it, it's strange. How were the Shadow Stream people so certain that ancient book would become a special item?"
The Whale County Travelogue and the Printer were special items from the same batch. Now the Printer was constantly printing paper in the desert, contributing to Koi Continent's cause, while the Whale County Travelogue could only sit gathering dust in storage.
"Yes, that is a real question. They were certain it would mutate." Ke Meng was puzzled now too.
