The blue-and-white sky was as pristine as if it had been washed clean. The westering sunlight illuminated the deathly silent, enormous Beginner Village.
The Beginner Village covered a vast area of four hundred square kilometers, enough to accommodate a great many players.
Hundreds of players spawned in the Beginner Village, wearing ordinary starter outfits and carrying basic weapons.

Of course, some had level-eight or level-nine accounts, and others had accounts in the teens.
But those leveled accounts were ultimately in the minority. Most of the researchers were LV1, with untouched accounts they had never leveled.
The player Everything Is Tough looked down at his mage robe. It was still his original robe, while his weapon was a two-handed sword. He followed a melee mage build: reckless and a man of few words, he would cast an illumination spell and charge straight in.

The engineer was dragged out to be pilloried. Trembling, he said, "The data has already been adjusted. Everyone's accounts are max level in the company's backend system, and the equipment is god-slaying gear. I've done everything I was supposed to do. You can't blame me. Blame the game."
