Ke Meng looked up at the sky. Unfortunately, it was not night yet. The sky was only slightly dim, and the entire world lay in twilight.
He guessed he would be able to see the night sky here before long.
Whether this was a planet or a Small World with a round sky and flat earth would have to wait for future exploration.
Ke Meng lowered his gaze and walked in an S-shaped serpentine pattern, sensing how the excitement of the Horse Hunter Leather Boots changed.
When he headed east, their excitement diminished. When he headed fifteen degrees westward, it grew, but once he veered to forty-five degrees, it diminished again.
Through repeated testing, Ke Meng determined which side had no one around. He walked to that corner, pushed off the ground, and leaped onto the wall. With his body perpendicular to its surface, he ran straight to the top and instantly flipped over. He moved so fast that he was like a streak of darkness passing over the wall. No one noticed the intruder.
Once inside the castle, Ke Meng quietly activated his localized cooling ability and switched on his energy-sensing mode, allowing him to faintly detect the heat of objects through certain walls.
The Iceblood Needle had granted him three abilities: Iceblood Burst, localized cooling, and ice sensing.
Ice sensing had never felt particularly distinct to him. Ke Meng thought it was much like the energy sensing that came with localized cooling.
Perhaps all three skills were built on the same underlying rules. If he could grasp their core principles, he could try modifying them into an ability humans could learn.
Come to think of it, the players in the Game World also figure out all kinds of skills on their own, Ke Meng murmured inwardly, thinking of
