Ke Meng ate breakfast, then checked the videos he uploaded each day. His resistance force was steadily growing daily.
Then he lay on his bed, thought it over, and decided to hang up the Curtains after all.
The guardian spirit silently appeared and sealed off the space.
Ke Meng took out the Game Helmet and slipped it onto his head. He immediately felt refreshed, as though his brain had merged with the machine.
But Ke Meng did not enter the game right away. Instead, he closed his eyes and hypnotized himself to sleep.
Since dreaming was safe, there was no reason to keep hiding things. Cthulhu did not care.
Ke Meng returned to R'lyeh with his waking memories and immediately felt a certain thought battering his lucid mind.
That thought was to break the ancient god seal.
Cthulhu had never spoken in Ke Meng's mind from beginning to end. Although he had not interfered with anything outside the dreams, Ke Meng no longer wanted to keep pretending he was blind.
"Let's talk." As Ke Meng spoke to himself, he silently assessed his control over the body.
He could control it as naturally as his own limbs, but the ancient god seal prevented him from moving.
Clearly, once Ke Meng entered a dream, Cthulhu's body was his.
Even after Ke Meng laid his cards on the table, R'lyeh remained silent.
Ke Meng could see nothing in his mind. He could only vaguely sense that the other being was asleep.
But while sleeping, he also made sounds resembling snores.
Ke Meng listened carefully, using the evil god's abilities to analyze them.
It was white noise mimicking the sounds of the seabed. It contained no precise language; he could only glean emotions through Synesthesia.
Ke Meng listened for a very, very long time.
