Ke Meng had no idea that the Orange Star People were seeking change.
Only when he entered dreams to rest and idly used Synesthesia to observe the Orange Star People did he learn that the Witch had left, leaving behind supernatural power and setting Orange Star on a path where the supernatural and technology advanced together.
This beginning reminded Ke Meng of Blue Star.
However, the two were not quite the same.
Blue Star had always been an anomalous planet, possessing immense power that could reject powerful outside entities.
It also naturally produced Special Items in abundance, and sometimes even awakened supernatural abilities in certain humans.
Blue Star already had this innate potential, whereas Orange Star had been modified after the fact. One was innate, the other acquired; there was a difference.
Ke Meng was not too sure what Orange Star's future would hold.
All he could say was that the future could wait until it arrived.
Lately.
Ke Meng had all but finished researching the sacrifice-based approach.
Half a month later.
For the first time, Ke Meng attempted to use his spirituality to pour a large amount of knowledge into the mind of a nonhuman creature.
This nonhuman creature was a wild monster in the Game World. It was fairly intelligent and could imitate humans, and its throat had a mutated organ that allowed it to mimic human voices.
As his spirituality spread, a large body of compressed knowledge flooded into the nonhuman creature's mind.
Afterward, it possessed a complete, fully developed body of knowledge about the Sacrifice Ritual, with Ke Meng himself as the intended recipient.
"Offer a sacrifice to me in ten seconds." Ke Meng gave it a simple, direct suggestion and tossed it an offering for the sacrifice. "Sacrifice this to me."
Ke Meng's voice carried
