An Kai did indeed respect "Teacher."
But there was one condition: the "Teacher" he respected was the dead one.
"Teacher's" will could continue guiding An Kai forward, and An Kai was willing to follow that will.
That was the "Teacher" An Kai respected.
It certainly was not a living doppelganger of "Teacher," or one with a chance of revival.
The reason An Kai killed those doppelgangers of "Teacher" so decisively was that he did not want to see the real "Teacher" return to life.
To An Kai, "Teacher" was far too mysterious and powerful.
An Kai had always regarded the [God of Magic] as an opponent, confident that he could surpass him.
Only "Teacher" revealed something new every time An Kai encountered him in a new part of the [Divine Court].
An Kai could not help marveling at his mystery and meticulous arrangements.
