Arrival and captivity in Temple City

Su Tian arrives in the Tagor Desert after apparently scanning a lightning-made QR code on Earth and losing consciousness. Familiarity with the original Battle Through the Heavens story helps him recognize the setting, but his system-granted emperor clan bloodline is something he does not remember from the novel 1.

The bloodline’s awakening attracts Queen Medusa’s attention. Snake-People pursue him, and he is eventually brought into Temple City. Although Medusa prevents Hua She’er from killing him, his attempts to provoke Hua leave him unconscious after he is caught between their overwhelming auras 1 2 9.
