A towering mountain was covered in pink peach trees, draping the entire mountain in a layer of pink. Most remarkable of all was the enormous lake at its summit. A great fountain shot up from the center of the lake, soaring dozens of yards into the sky before its spray scattered, shrouding the entire summit in mist. Sunlight shone upon that mist, casting rainbow after rainbow. Now, with evening approaching, the golden sunlight fell through the mist like a veil of golden gauze laid over the mountain, dreamlike and extraordinarily beautiful.
At the very top of the mountain, upon an enormous peach tree hundreds of yards tall, an exquisitely beautiful figure dressed in white gauze stood casually on a branch. The breeze stirred her white gauze palace dress, making her look like a celestial maiden descended to the mortal world. Her peerless face, white as jade, was serene and beautiful. Her lovely eyes gazed unwaveringly at the blue sky and white clouds, her expression lonely with yearning, as though she could see through the autumn waters themselves. She remained motionless...
No one knew how much time passed...
"I wonder how that heartless man is doing after his ascension..." Only then did the peerless fairy furrow her brows slightly and murmur, her voice full of wistful reproach and longing. Ever since he had ascended, she had somehow grown fond of gazing at the sky from the highest point of Rainbow Rosy Peak. Perhaps this made her feel closer to him...
But then!
"I wonder how Sister is doing?" She remembered the other woman in his life, the one who had kept her company and comforted her while he was away. She murmured forlornly, her delicate brows knitting as loneliness washed over her exquisite face...
Another unknown stretch of time passed...
"A
