Ancient Demon Mountain

Ancient Demon Mountain was a treasure-rich demon-beast territory before the Southwestern Ancient City existed. Its high-rank beasts initially outnumbered the ancient cultivators, forcing intruders to hunt isolated beasts and steal materials near the outskirts. Once news spread, increasing numbers of cultivators reduced the beast population and steadily compressed its territory 351.

Fire Dragon Palace Intervention

Two masked cultivators from Fire Dragon Palace reversed the course of a war between the righteous and demonic paths. Revealed as tenth-tier Fire Dragon Demon Beasts—and Old Dragon Head’s parents—they fought six righteous Spirit Communion Stage cultivators to a draw and pressured them into accepting a ceasefire 881.

Beast Tides

• Occur at intervals of hundreds of years, sometimes a thousand years 907.
