(Second update)
After several days of recuperation, Zhou Xiaoya and the others had recovered nearly all their magic power. They picked up speed and flew onward. As they sped ahead, the ground within the fissure rose higher and higher, while the cliffs on either side grew shorter. The chill ahead grew increasingly bitter, and crystal-clear icicles hung all over the cliffs, making a particularly beautiful sight. Strangely, however, despite the cold, there was no sign of snow or hail falling from the sky.
Sure enough, after flying for over four hours, they finally emerged from the enormous fissure running through the mountain range.
"Whoa!!! What an enormous mountain!" As soon as they emerged from the fissure, everyone cried out in amazement at the sight before them.
They had thought the giant mountains they had seen from outside the Enchanted Mountain Range were already enormous, but compared to the mountain before them, those were mere apprentice shamans facing a master.
Before them stretched a seemingly boundless, snow-white forest. At the distant meeting of heaven and earth, a mountainside like an immense wall blocked the horizon, rising into the sky with no summit in sight. It was far larger than either the Heavenly Dao Sect's Divine Path Mountain or the giant mountains they had previously seen in the Enchanted Mountain Range. Tiny black specks flew above it, evidently flying demon beasts, and the forest ahead also showed plenty of signs of demon beasts prowling and roaring.
"Ah! Sure enough, getting our hands on the Primordial Chaos Pill won't be easy!" Everyone sighed at the sight.
"Fellow Daoist Li! How do you think we should get past this giant mountain?" Qu Long Scholar asked Li Xiaoya.
"I think we'd better stop coveting these demon beasts' materials this time!" Li Xiaoya replied, seemingly answering
