"Hm?" Just as Li Xiaoya was fretting, his divine sense stirred. A familiar fluctuation of spiritual qi had flown within a few dozen yards, then stopped several yards in front of him in the blink of an eye. Liu Xian'er stood there, fully dressed, with white gauze veiling her face.
"...!" Liu Xian'er stopped behind him and watched as Li Xiaoya turned around in silence. Suddenly noticing the unconscious Zhang Hong in his arms, she stepped forward and asked softly with concern, "Senior Sister Zhang Hong... how is she?"
"Uh!" Li Xiaoya's expression stiffened. After a moment's hesitation, he answered, "Her state of mind is unstable. She's showing signs of qi deviation!" He suddenly felt puzzled. He had suspected several times before that Blue Ice was Liu Xian'er, but he had never been certain or found an opportunity to ask. Thinking carefully, there had actually been plenty of flaws in Liu Xian'er's disguise as Blue Ice. How had he failed to notice? With that thought, he began looking her up and down in her current guise.
"Qi deviation!" Liu Xian'er exclaimed. She hurried two steps forward and looked at Zhang Hong, then suddenly reached toward her head. Just before touching her, her hand froze, and she withdrew it again. "It's all my fault," she said softly, full of regret. "I made Senior Sister Zhang Hong so heartbroken!" She paused, then hurriedly added as though remembering something, "But don't worry! I won't disturb you two again!" With that, she turned to leave.
"Wait!" Startled by her words, Li Xiaoya suddenly reached out and caught her hand.
"You... let go!" Liu Xian'er's hand trembled as she cried out, trying to pull it back.
"Xian'er!" Li Xiaoya gazed at her tenderly and called her name in a gentle voice. Hearing his
