(Second update)
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!!! Li Xiaoya raised both hands above his head, golden light blazing from them. An enormous sphere of light, so wide it would take several people linking arms to encircle it, hovered overhead. It radiated almost tangible fluctuations of magic power that made the scalp prickle, while howling waves surged wildly in every direction.
"Xian'er! Come out!!" Li Xiaoya shouted toward an immense mountain cave below, where explosions rumbled without cease. His voice boomed like thunder.
Boom!!! A deafening explosion erupted inside the cave, and countless ice spikes and streaks of blue light shot from its entrance. A blue beam burst out-it was Liu Xian'er. She looked rather bedraggled now, the Heavenly Feather Wings on her back beating furiously.
"Aoooo!!!!" An earth-shaking roar came from inside the cave, shaking the entire mountain as though it might collapse.
Boom!!!! An enormous, pitch-black snakehead nearly a hundred zhang across lunged out of the entrance, pursuing Liu Xian'er.
Whoosh!! Blue light flashed over Liu Xian'er as both her hands swiftly formed seals. Countless rays of blue-violet light shot skyward. The Ren-Kui Twin Swords spun continuously, transforming into a circular blue-violet light blade dozens of zhang across that slashed toward the enormous snakehead, scattering frost and blue-violet light wherever it passed.
"Gaaa!!!!" The enormous snakehead roared and swung with all its strength. A vast swath of black light enveloped its entire head as it rammed straight into the incoming circular blue-violet light blade.
Clang!! With the sound of clashing metal, the enormous snakehead was knocked backward, but the circular blue-violet light blade formed by the Ren-Kui Twin Swords was sent flying as well.
"Gagagaga!!!!" Just then, another series of strange cries rang out inside the cave. Rumble!! One enormous snakehead after another shot out. It was actually a Seven-Headed
