After learning of the Boundless Immortal Spirit Fruit and claiming Illusory Spirit Island, they secured the island and uncovered abundant spoils.

• Li Xiaoya ambushed and killed Black Dragon Marshal, then drove the remaining dragons away and secretly used the Fire Dragon Sword to absorb the Blood Sea.
• After recovering, Li Xiaoya and Tianyuan entered the Immemorial Heaven-and-Earth Spiritual Qi Formation, fought through its demon beasts and puppets, and crossed into its inner world.
• Li Xiaoya and Tianyuan established underwater cave abodes, where Li Xiaoya reunited with Liu Xian'er and Zhang Hong and gradually recovered his strength.

Li Xiaoya broke through to the Mighty One Stage, defeated Zhenyuan Daoist, and escaped the formation that had trapped him. Back on Illusory Spirit Island, Tianyuan revealed the cauldrons’ power and asked Li Xiaoya to help him pursue the Immortal Tribulation Stage.

• Li Xiaoya explored the Inner Sea with the Four-Armed Salamander Beast, but the Sea Cow Emperor wounded him before Tianyuan intervened.
• After years of cultivation, Li Xiaoya reached the Mighty One Stage, while the Dragon Race launched a war against the Human Race and Liu Xian'er and Zhang Hong advanced in seclusion.
• Zhenyuan Daoist arrived at Illusory Spirit Island during Liu Xian'er's breakthrough, so Li Xiaoya drew him away and defeated him with his sword techniques, clones, and Heaven-Shaking Tower.
• Li Xiaoya discovered that the battle had trapped him inside a formation, then combined his clones' attacks with his own to break through its Golden Immortal Script barrier and escape.
• Li Xiaoya returned to the island and told Zhang Hong that he had killed Zhenyuan Daoist, then went to Tianyuan's empty cave abode and contacted him.

Li Xiaoya formed three elemental clones and joined Liu Xian'er in delaying the Demon-Magic Emperor and Sea Cow Emperor while Tianyuan advanced. After the demon beast armies were devastated and Liu Xian'er's formations began to fail, Li Xiaoya confronted the Demon-Magic Emperor alone.

• Li Xiaoya gave Tianyuan the precious cauldron, and Tianyuan merged it with its counterpart to create the Yin-Yang Chaos Divine Cauldron, melting down his physical body in the process.
• Liu Xian'er overcame her heart demon with Li Xiaoya's help, then entered the remnant formation alone while Zhang Hong prepared for her own breakthrough.
• Li Xiaoya formed earth-, water-, and wood-element clones, and Tianyuan's advancement triggered a gathering of demon beast forces against Illusory Spirit Island.
• Li Xiaoya and Liu Xian'er used formations to delay the Demon-Magic Emperor and Sea Cow Emperor while Tianyuan continued advancing.

Li Xiaoya and his companions defended Illusory Spirit Island, then followed Tianyuan into the Inner Sea in search of the Immortal Herb Garden. They reached the garden with Guagua’s help and escaped its barriers, only to encounter the Mysterious Young Man pursued by guardians.

• Li Xiaoya fought the Demon-Magic Emperor, who was weakened by an Immortal-Devouring Dagger before the Turtle-Snake Emperor seized him, and Li Xiaoya escaped the arriving Sea Cow Emperor.
• The Sea Cow Emperor’s forces broke Illusory Spirit Island’s defenses, but Tianyuan recovered his Immortal Tribulation Stage cultivation and used the Yin-Yang Chaos Divine Cauldron to defeat them.
• Tianyuan led Li Xiaoya, Liu Xian'er, Zhang Hong, and the Four-Armed Salamander Beast into the Inner Sea, where they killed the Turtle-Snake Emperor and obtained a route to the Immortal Herb Garden from the Demon-Magic Emperor’s demonic infant.
• Liu Xian'er devised a space-vortex route through the garden’s defenses, and the group crossed it before Li Xiaoya drew the guardians away and Tianyuan funneled them into another vortex.
• Guagua passed through the garden’s restriction, absorbed wild herb spirits, and regained memories of the Immemorial Heaven-and-Earth Spiritual Qi Formation, then revealed that the group could still leave the garden.
• Li Xiaoya bargained with Guagua for the garden’s Red Lotus Immortal Wine Fruits, and Guagua gathered the fruits and five-colored divine soil before helping the group find another passage out.
• Guagua guided the group through barriers where they found spirit treasures, and they emerged near the Mysterious Young Man as dozens of guardians pursued him.
