Entering the Human World

Xiao Wu takes human form to pursue revenge against her mother’s killer. She initially plans to cultivate quietly in a remote human city, but sensing a Titled Douluo with a hundred-thousand-year soul ring at Nuoding City frightens her into fleeing. She considers abandoning further advancement and hiding in the Star Dou Great Forest rather than risking capture 4.

While escaping, she collides with Lu Xuan, who catches her wrist and recognizes her identity. Expecting to be killed for her soul ring and soul bone, she responds with hostility toward humans. Lu Xuan instead spares her and orders her to remain by his side as a maid. Although she considers escaping, she follows him back to the academy 4 5.

Becoming Lu Xuan’s Disciple
