In a lush forest, two figures, one white and one black, darted back and forth, their paths crossing. They were Dai Jinge and Zhu Zhuqing.

Dai Jinge stepped forward, took out a handkerchief, and gently wiped the sweat from Zhu Zhuqing's face and her jade-like neck.
Zhu Zhuqing took a deep breath and settled her emotions.
Liu Erlong suddenly appeared in the clearing. She looked at the two with a complicated expression, then smiled excitedly. "With you two here this time, I think my Blue Tyrant Academy might win the next advanced Soul Master academy championship."
Dai Jinge and Zhu Zhuqing exchanged smiles.

Liu Erlong overheard him. With one hand on her hip, she smiled. "Jinge, if you can handle this yourself, there's no need to insist on bringing Zhu Zhuqing along, is there? Let her stay and keep me company!"
"Is it dangerous?" Zhu Zhuqing asked worriedly.
Dai Jinge shook his head with a smile. "No. As long as I want to leave, no one can stop me."
Zhu Zhuqing nodded and reminded him, "Then I'll wait here for you to come back. Remember, if you run into an enemy you can't beat, run. There's nothing shameful about that."

Zhu Zhuqing waved goodbye.

Zhu Zhuqing shook her head. "I don't know either. Jinge never mentioned it to me before."

Dai Jinge searched the shop for that piece of hair crystal. At the question, he replied without turning his head, "I'm looking for someone. His name is Dai Mubai."

Flender's brows knitted tightly, and tension rose in his heart. He was not worried about himself, but about someone else.
"If you're looking for someone, go put up a notice."
Flender resumed his languid expression, though his attention remained fixed on Dai Jinge.

Dai Jinge finally found the piece of hair crystal, retraced his steps, and came up to Flender.
He smiled mockingly. "Flender, don't play dumb with me. Since I've found my way here, naturally I know about your relationship with Dai Mubai."
Flender frowned. "This is the Heaven Dou Empire, not the Star Luo Empire. The Star Luo Imperial Family is stretching its hand far too far!"
Flender's words instantly amused Dai Jinge. He laughed. "You're actually trying to use the Heaven Dou Empire to pressure me? Is there something wrong with your head?"
"Insolence!"
Flender abruptly released his Martial Soul and Soul Rings, bringing the full weight of his level-seventy-eight Soul Power down on Dai Jinge.
"Who do you think you're talking to?!"
Under that pressure, Dai Jinge stood ramrod straight. White Tiger Possession activated, and the [White Tiger Power Lock] on his left wrist instantly completed its armament.
"And who do you think you're facing?"
Dai Jinge's expression was icy as he met Flender's gaze without yielding an inch.
Flender's brows drew tightly together. Unease churned within him, and he was the first to give way.
He reined in his aura and said heavily, "Mubai has already fled to the Heaven Dou Empire. Why are you still unwilling to leave him alone? Besides, it doesn't seem to be time yet, does it?"
Dai Jinge suddenly tightened his grip, crushing the piece of hair crystal into powder.
