Zhu Family and Reassigned Engagement

Zhu Zhuqing is Zhu Tianlie’s youngest daughter and Zhu Zhuyun’s younger sister. After awakening her Martial Soul, she endured three years of persecution from Zhu Zhuyun while her parents turned a blind eye. Her family’s longstanding marriage alliance with the Star Luo imperial family tied her future to its dangerous succession struggle 1.

She was originally betrothed to Dai Mubai. When he fled Star Luo City, the imperial family dissolved their engagement and made her Dai Jinge’s fiancée instead. She initially felt guilty for drawing Jinge into the succession conflict, but his concern gave her a renewed sense of belonging. During their first meeting, she agreed to leave the city with him 1.

Journey to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well

The pair first traveled to Cangxuan City, where Dai Jinge recruited Breaking Clan leader Yang Wudi for an immortal-herb expedition. Zhu Zhuqing accompanied the negotiations and used her Hell Spirit Cat possession to verify her identity 2 3 4.
