Da Only Boss was fascinated by the Psyker flying back and forth overhead. He kicked off hard, crushing the entire shoulder of the Ork beneath his foot. The enormous Krork leaped straight at Cancero in the air.

"Come on, then!" Cancero thrust his spear with every ounce of strength he had.

There was nothing fancy about that thrust. Only by giving it everything could he win a chance at survival.

A streak of light flashed and vanished as the coldly gleaming spearhead struck the smooth Ork Power Armour.

The dark green armour was solid as rock. A Super Shoota mounted on its right shoulder kept firing at Cancero, while the decorative skull beside it grinned, seemingly mocking his impotence.

The spear formed from Psyker Power began to shatter, little by little. Under Cancero's control, its larger fragments circled the Greater Psyker, while the smaller pieces scattered across the ground.

The Ork Power Armour had not escaped unscathed. Fine cracks appeared where sparks flew, and the cunning Da Only Boss noticed them.

If this enemy can break my armour, he can kill me. If he can hurt me, he can kill me.

Near enough, I'm in trouble. Gotta kill this little sprout first. (To a Krork, this disabled man with a little Psyker Power barely qualified as a little sprout. After all, their opponents back in the day had been the Aeldari at their peak.)

Savage strength began to manifest in the enormous Krork. He descended, and the moment his feet planted firmly on the ground, he charged at Cancero again without hesitation.

They were "indoors," and Cancero could not fly very high. The Astartes fought desperately to hold the line, blocking enemy charges with melta fire.

The entire Astartes line slowly retreated. Only the metal fragments continued advancing.
