The Eternal Mountain raced toward the colony. After receiving the distress signal, Evan had rushed here as fast as he could, believing it was an attack by scattered Orks.

When he saw a Strike Cruiser hovering in planetary orbit, Evan knew this little world of only a few tens of thousands was beyond saving. When he saw the wrecked colony ship, fury swept through every one of the Emperor's Angels.

Evan stood on the bridge, one arm held out horizontally, his gaze cold.

Situval was checking his right arm again. It seemed to be in good condition.

"I think rather a lot of people have been dying lately."

"You'd better think so." Situval was currently responsible for the transformations aboard the Eternal Mountain. The number of Ralph's "children and grandchildren" had begun doubling. The compatibility of the Iron Warriors' gene-seed was absurdly high.

"You know, all the good stuff I've collected over the years ought to see some use. Otherwise, it'll rust."

"Then let's give them a little upgrade in treatment. Battle Barge level should do."

The Strike Cruiser before them showed almost no corruption, suggesting that the traitors had kept their Gellar Field active when entering the Warp. This time, however, our Chapter Master Big Greed had no intention of capturing it.
