Half of Dragon Head's body had been torn apart. The bone spur on his right arm had snapped, its tip shattered. The rear section had also taken a tremendous impact, wrenching out the bones inside his powered arm in a bloody mess.

With half his body grievously wounded, Dragon Head's consciousness blurred for a moment. An injection of potent stimulants quickly brought him around as his body hurtled backward through the air.

The tyrant raised a long spike, trying to skewer him like meat, then carry its prey on its back like a hedgehog and keep moving.

Dragon Head's armour might as well have been paper before this enemy. The Hive Tyrant had smashed it effortlessly, and the armour covering half his body had gone offline.

The bone spur on his left arm prevented him from wielding a Warblade properly, so Dragon Head had equipped a Power Fist. Now he had no choice but to raise it and turn defence into offence, threatening the enemy to save himself.

His fist shot straight toward a vital spot, forcing the tyrant to redirect its attack and block his punch. Several Tyrant Guards rushed forward, swinging fists the size of sandbags straight at Dragon Head's face.

Dragon Head landed and twisted aside to dodge a punch. The Tyrant Guard's monstrous strength shattered the cooled rock slab beneath him, previously blasted by an Earthshaker Cannon. Dragon Head staggered upright.

He glanced at the standard-bearer in the distance, who impaled a Tyranid warrior on his War Banner with a single thrust, then swung it outward, sending the synapse creature flying toward him.

The bone spur on Dragon Head's left arm was shorter than the one on his right, but harder. He decided to try again.
