Anthony silently took out the Chapter History Notes and turned to the section on the Deep-Sea Monster Fish.

He wondered how Tech-Priest Mapus's research into the Bio-ship's hull was going. Back then, Evan had led the Astartes in boarding a gigantic deep-sea fish, and they had charged into the outer reaches of its brain to plant bombs. That thrilling experience remained unforgettable.

Anthony closed the little notebook and sighed.

Anthony took a fierce bite of his Food Bar. It was the special Emperor's Ascension Day edition. Life or death would be decided in this battle. Time to move out.

The Imperium's fighter crews stood tall on either side of the formation, saluting the Emperor's Angels as they filed into the Assault Pods.

Suddenly, the Red-armored Warriors stopped and gave the brave mortals an Aquila salute.
