The Carcharodons warrior Kazhaniv had rammed aside scrambled to his feet, a sharp pain twisting through his chest. He reached behind him, seized his fallen Warblade, and fixed his eyes on the two men ahead.

Kazhaniv attacked first. His Khan Swordsmanship was exquisite, his Chainsword dancing high and low, its edge seeming to vanish into the void so his opponent could not tell where it would land.

The Carcharodons warrior wielding the Power Greatsword retreated three steps, then decided to attack rather than defend. He swung heavily forward, turning his body slightly toward the blade to shield his vital points behind its broad flat.

That played straight into Kazhaniv's hands. The Mad Wolf slammed his Warblade against the flat of the Power Greatsword, knocking it several inches aside and driving half the long blade into the metal wall. At the same time, he threw a low kick at his enemy's knee.

Because of the Carcharodons Chapter's "poverty," most of their Power Armour consisted of mismatched parts, leaving its structural stability somewhat lacking. Kazhaniv struck the armour's joints with all his strength, trying to damage their connections.

With both the Chainsword and Power Greatsword trapped, the two men swung their fists and resorted to the oldest form of combat.

The other Carcharodons warrior seized the opportunity to draw his Combat Knife and lunge at Kazhaniv.

The Mad Wolf punched his opponent back, then ducked and drove upward. Using only his Powered Arm Plates, he exchanged three blows with the knife-wielding enemy in a single breath and snapped his weapon.
