The Necrons' Scythe-class Harvester warship deployed its particle whip generator, using a magnetic field to control a long arc of electricity. Matter-antimatter annihilation tore Boomblasta's flagship apart, splitting the great iron sphere in two and sending it crashing onto the planet.

They followed their protocols, killing only trespassers and anyone obstructing their mission. Clearly, some bugs were in the way.

The Necrons "incidentally" destroyed the planet's space station. A storm of neutrino turbulence overloaded the spaceport's Void Shields. Just as they prepared to destroy the ships there, the "lesser general" commanding the battle spoke: ignore the other creatures, eliminate the target, and return immediately.

The overlord had only just awakened. The entire dynasty had much to do and no time to waste.

Then a Monolith was deployed. They would descend to the planet and slaughter the trespassing Orks.

Layer after layer of armor shattered around Boomblasta.

As an old Ork Mekboy more than two hundred years old, he had keenly recognized the difficulty of continuing a fight once his armor broke. His solution was to nest one mech inside another, layer upon layer, wrapped up like a bamboo shoot.

After the hard crash landing, Boomblasta's outermost Mega-Mech was completely destroyed, and the second layer had also sustained damage.
