I'm picking this fight today, no matter what

Khorne's blood warriors passed through the magnificent underground prayer hall, crossed crimson corridors soaked in foul blood, and fought their way out of a flame-shrouded realm of death, charging straight toward the blades of the Emperor's Angels of Death.

The six hundred or so Chaos Warriors in the main force had fallen behind the vanguard for one simple reason: they were too heavy. Through constant fighting, they had seized thick armour from their comrades and covered themselves in countless finely crafted trophies.

An army weighed down by bloody glory.

These true elites of Khorne began their charge. They kicked open heavy stone doors and smashed through walls in their path. Their leader carried a rare adamantium spear-a corrupted spear of Khorne-with the corpse of a coward who had fled earlier impaled upon it, its point aimed straight toward the Crimson Tide.

"Charge!" If that siren-like screech could be considered the language of Chaos.

The two armies drew closer and closer, until the footsteps of heavy Adamantium Armor echoed through the hall like thunder. The roars of the Emperor's Angels rang in the traitors' ears, while anti-psyker bolts and Vengeance armour-piercing rounds reminded them once again that they were nothing but fallen traitors.

Evan could no longer contain his eagerness for battle and sprinted all the way to the hall's second floor.

After the enemies below had endured a barrage of anti-psyker attacks, the first World Eater to charge out was met by Evan leaping from the second floor, bringing his blade down at his head.

The powerful Warband champion reacted with incredible speed, raising his adamantium spear crosswise to block Evan's long blade. The coward's corpse hanging above swayed, its ruined body riddled with bolts and anti-psyker fluid, shielding the champion at the forefront from most of the ranged attacks.
