All forces, heed my command: straight for Khorne's four-wheeler... er... straight for the enemy flagship
"If they choose to fight to the death, we'll blast them apart with Nova Cannons. If they choose to retreat, we'll get to enjoy our favorite part."
The Blood Legion would not retreat. They chose to die on their feet.
More World Eaters fleets moved toward them. Blood Legion reinforcements appeared at all three ends of the Warp routes, with several great fleets of eighty-eight warships each heading their way.
"It looks like a strategic encirclement." Evan studied the situation before him, pointing at several star systems on the holographic map. "Have the scouts over there reported back?"
"Not yet."
"Send another batch."
Khorne knew exactly what state his warriors were in. He deftly concealed the targets in several star systems, then scattered his armies across different regions. Once any region came under attack, the other Blood Armies would "naturally" charge madly toward the enemy.
What looked like a completely mindless charge was, from Khorne's perspective, an excellent encirclement tactic.
"Chapter Master, the enemy has been annihilated. Those ships are severely corrupted, and the salvage crews are having trouble working."
At times like this, Evan rather missed the IV Legion. At least only their machine spirits had fallen; the ships themselves had not been badly corrupted.
"I only want the keels. Blast everything else to pieces."
Annos swallowed roughly forty warships for repairs. It would not take long. Their own shipyard had plenty of spare parts.
"Move faster. The other enemies will be here soon."
Evan was not worried in the slightest. This was Xiang Yu surrounded on all sides, except I've got supplies, and my army's morale won't collapse. The gap between the Blood Legion and the Light of the People is even greater than the difference in troop quality between Liu Bang and Xiang Yu.
*What, are you
