Victor stood on the manta's back as it floated slowly along, his brow furrowed.
Evan continued his rambling introduction. In his mind, Victor sorted this series of novel things into three tiers. The highest consisted of the Space Manta, False Sanguinius, and the Secret Cult Warship. Next came Primarch Weapons, armour, and the like. The lowest contained the Wind and Cloud-class Battleship, the Flying Little Train, and the Ion Storm.
"All right, that's all our weapons. Basically, apart from Master-crafted Power Swords and bolters, our Chapter's weapons have absolutely nothing to do with what Imperial supply lines provide."
Evan stopped. They had reached the Chapter's History Museum, which Librarian Sisyphus oversaw.
However, the hand Sisyphus wrapped around the Gourd Hammer had already activated the Dark God's perspective. Strangely, he could not lock onto the Custodian. On the level of the Warp, the Adeptus Custodes were entirely immune to the corruption of the Four Gods, let alone the Gourd Hammer.
Sisyphus's gaze swept over Victor's black robes, and he spoke slowly. "Is he the man you mentioned?"
"Yes. Give him the highest clearance. He can look at whatever he likes."

A Chief Librarian possessing a Psyker Artifact was perfectly normal. In this Chapter, it barely even ranked as noteworthy.
He quickly reviewed the Chapter's entire history. The story of Evan's rise was extremely vague before Librarian Sisyphus arrived. Back when they had no Librarian, Evan had written every record himself, so naturally...
"Who wrote all this?"
"I did." Standing beside him, Evan planted his hands on his hips, looking thoroughly proud. Sisyphus had already retreated some distance. Anti-psyker power was not pleasant to endure.
