So many spikes had sprouted wildly that the Mad Wolf's Power Armour gave a piercing scrape every time he moved.

This monster had condensed from a mass of rampaging Khorne energy. As long as that energy endured, it would never disappear.

Large numbers of guards were rushing toward him. Armed with every conceivable weapon, the Chaos Cultists made no effort to conceal their charge. Their footsteps were a chaotic din, and every echo in the corridor urged Kazhaniv to hurry.

The mass of spikes writhed. The Mad Wolf quickened his steps, circling his enemy, prowling around it.

The Chaos Spawn lost patience. Khorne's servants always did.

It charged Kazhaniv with savage fury. That Aquila Emblem was so revolting. Those gleaming golden wings had to be torn apart-now, immediately, this instant!
