Evan helped the Green Templars defeat the Orks on Atris, then led the surviving Chapters through a devastating war against Chaos and the Luna Wolves. The survivors founded the Crimson Tide and began recruiting candidates through a three-day desert trial.

• Evan joined the Green Templars as Rookie Thirteen, trained for ten years, and fought with them on Atris, where he killed the Ork warlord Mistanbol and helped defeat the invasion.
• Evan uncovered an Aeldari spacecraft on Atris, urged humanity to unite against its enemies, and left the planet wearing the people’s Baina Robe.
• Deika led the Green Templars into the Taste System, where Evan and his squad boarded Chaos ships and fought alongside the Shadow Venom Blade and Storm Will Chapters.
• The Imperial Chapters battled the Luna Wolves and a Greater Daemon, and Evan helped destroy Karkarim before finding gene-seeds and five STC fragments in the enemy vault.

Evan built the Crimson Tide Chapter through brutal recruitment trials, military campaigns, and uneasy deals with the Imperium’s factions. The story left him expanding the Chapter’s influence while a possessed apprentice named Lillisa infiltrated a Mechanicus laboratory and contaminated its culture fluid.

• Evan killed Chi Wei Ding after the desert trial, and Little William, Enke, Frosa, and Xiao Lan survived the selection rounds to become finalists.
• William, Enke, and Xiao Lan helped defeat the Phenos Stone Serpent, and Evan began training the recruits into the Crimson Tide Chapter.
• Evan concealed the Chapter’s gene-seed and STC Template from Imperial inspectors, then trained his forces and reorganized Taste under Astartes rule.
• Evan negotiated military supplies from the Forge Worlds, fought Nurgle’s forces on Olaye, and destroyed the altar that had sustained the Warp Rifts.

Evan expanded the Crimson Tide Chapter’s forces and influence while fighting Chaos, the Adeptus Mechanicus, and uneasy Imperial allies. The arc ended with the Chapter’s assault on a Slaaneshi stronghold advancing through heavy losses toward a vast structure of flesh.

• Nian Cijin killed Lillisa after she weakened him with Warp-infused hormones, while Evan’s fleet departed Taste and his recruits continued their campaigns and training.
• Evan’s forces crushed Khorne cultists on Scaria, overthrew five local governments, replaced the Ecclesiarchy, and drew Captain Sloft into discussions about his new council and the Imperium.
• Evan fought Chaos fleets alongside Sloft, captured an Iron Warriors cruiser, and rejected the Codex Astartes as a limit on the Chapter’s role in governing worlds.
• Evan helped Priest Mapus kill a Leviathan-class sea beast, then faced the Emperor’s Spears after Librarian Sisyphus prophesied that Evan was connected to the Emperor’s return.
• A Tzeentch daemon manipulated the Emperor’s Spears into battle with the Crimson Tide Chapter, but Sisyphus helped Evan destroy it, and the surviving Spears joined the Chapter’s service.
• Evan’s fleet joined Sloft’s forces against Slaanesh in the Panova System, where the Chapter defeated Noise Marines and began an assault on a corrupted Hive City.
• Xiao Lan’s squad found Ina, a Blank, in the Underhive, while Evan’s warriors destroyed the hive’s defenses and banished its powerful daemons.
• Xiao Lan led the Tenth Company, Titans, and tanks into the blood fog as the Death Korps of Krieg sacrificed themselves to secure the advance, and the Mechanicum spotted a vast structure made of flesh.

Evan led the Crimson Tide Chapter through battles against Orks, Genestealer cultists, and Drukhari while expanding its forces and pursuing new technology. After Malcador revealed why he had brought Evan to this world, Evan took the Chapter toward Segmentum Obscurus, where a distress signal might have come from Lamenters survivors.

• Evan’s forces reclaimed the planet, screened survivors for Chaos corruption, and departed after a victory ceremony, while he negotiated for Navigators and dealt with cultists aboard the Righteous Vigil.
• Evan recruited Cancero to train Ina, then sent reinforcements to Ashishk, where the Crimson Tide, Deathwatch, and Inquisitor Collins defeated an Ork attack and rescued the Black Ship.
• Evan established a fortress beneath Atris, expanded the Chapter, and later captured Siwana’s pirate ship before persuading her to serve as an advance scout for his expedition.
• Nidal of the Raven Guard challenged Evan’s leadership, while a Genestealer cult attacked the planet and Bars awakened psychic powers that destroyed the cultists threatening him.
