Evan and the Crimson Tide expanded their forces, conquered the T'au worlds, and fought Drukhari, Chaos, Orks, and other enemies across the galaxy. The volume leaves the Chapter facing new threats, with William's whereabouts unresolved, Li Anjun newly enlisted, and Siwana reunited with Kazhaniv.

Arc 5The Krork Seal and New Alliances

Evan’s Crimson Tide aided the Lamenters, broke open an ancient prison and fought the Krork before resuming its campaigns across the galaxy. The arc ended with Evan managing a psyker rebellion, investigating a powerless relic, and considering how to recruit new Neophytes.

  • Evan and the Crimson Tide rescued the Lamenters from a Nurgle-infested world, helped them evacuate and destroy it, then brought the depleted Chapter into an alliance.
  • The fleet fought the Disciples of Blood and raided a Red Corsairs base before Evan withdrew ahead of enemy reinforcements and set new policies for the allied Chapters.

Arc 6The Crimson Tide’s Expansion

Evan and the Crimson Tide Chapter expanded their forces, fought across several worlds, and recovered an STC fragment while defeating Chaos and Ork threats. The arc ended with Mororis killing Warlord Worstan, leaving the Orks disorganized as Maturio approached the besieged mining base.

  • Evan built up the Crimson Tide Chapter on Atris, fought off a Chaos warband, and joined William in battles for the Typhon tank and against Shieldbreaker’s Orks.
  • Evan’s forces and allies explored Hou Wenk World, defeated its ancient defenses, recovered an STC fragment, and spent ten years developing the world and new technology.

Arc 7The T'au Campaign and Its Aftermath

Evan led the Crimson Tide through a campaign that conquered the T'au worlds, then rebuilt the Chapter and fought Chaos while pursuing new threats and recovering lost resources. The arc left William and much of the fleet missing, with Evan preparing to retaliate against the Drukhari and Enke developing new weapons for wounded soldiers.

  • Osk led Iron Face’s squad in an ambush to seize a Genestealer-held warehouse, while Maturio and the Crimson Tide fleet fought Orks across Red Rock.
  • Evan brought the Chapter to Sorok World, defeated the T'au forces, and took control with the help of local soldiers and Underhive residents.
  • Evan drew the T'au into a series of fleet battles, captured their warships, and led the Chapter’s advance toward Vior'la and the T'au homeworld.

  • Evan and the Crimson Tide trapped the Evil Soul Kabal, killed Evil Soul, and ended the invasion at the cost of 221 Astartes.
  • Evan returned to Langjuxu, reviewed Christina’s armor projects, and suggested tests on living T'au while Anthony fought Chaos forces alongside Imperial allies and 1313.
