Evan led the Crimson Tide through campaigns against Chaos, xenos, and Imperial forces before joining Guilliman and the returned Primarchs to prepare Terra for the coming assault. The Emperor vanished and the Astronomican went dark as Chaos attacks spread across the Imperium, leaving the war unresolved.

Arc 17The Crimson Tide Campaign

Evan led the Crimson Tide through battles against the Dark Angels, daemons, Aeldari, Necrons, and a Genestealer Cult while Imperial forces prepared to defend Terra. The arc ended with Alpharius killing the Genestealer Patriarch on Terra and taking Guilliman’s form.

  • Sisyphus’s forces drove the xenos alliance from Imperial territory, and Victor ordered Evan to stage a destructive conflict in the Ghoul Stars to draw Imperial forces back toward Terra.
  • Azrael and Evan’s forces clashed on the Savage World as Marbas and the World Eaters joined the battle, and Azmodai eventually destroyed the altar that had absorbed Marbas.

Arc 18The Crimson Tide Advances

Evan’s fleet fought the forces of Chaos and the Imperium while pursuing its campaign toward Fengyan Star. The arc left the Light of the People damaged, Victor rescuing a mysterious boy, and the Nemesis Chapter still trapped under Iron Warriors assault.

  • The Changeling infiltrated the Light of the People, but Evan, Victor, and the Tech Mogul drove it away after it attacked Ina and damaged the fleet.
  • The Crimson Tide defeated the Minotaurs, fought off Tzeentch’s daemons, and expanded its campaign while Guilliman ordered Imperial forces to hold their positions.

Arc 19The Eye and the Antalis Node

Evan led the Crimson Tide through a spreading Warp crisis, drew the Necrons into the fight, and reached Guilliman at the Antalis Node. Guilliman assigned the Crimson Tide new defenses and prepared to take Evan to meet the Emperor, while other factions made their own moves.

  • The Emperor hid one twin in Hylikeus’s Blank Bone Shield and used the other to steal from the Warp as daemons converged on Fengyan Star.
  • Evan brought the Lawful Talon and other warships through Chaos forces, then traded supplies with Genestealer Cults while the Nemesis Chapter’s Gloriana was repaired.
  • Anwar Dewin fought alongside the Space Wolves and Alpharius against Lorgar’s Word Bearers, while Corax pursued Lorgar into the Warp.
  • Evan mobilized the Crimson Tide and attacked the Hecarimo Iron Curtain as the fleet battle drew Nurgle, Khorne, and the other Chaos powers into the system.

  • Blackhawk helped the Emperor’s Champion fight Huron aboard the Blackstone Fortress, and a device healed Blackhawk after the Champion left him for dead.
  • Jaghatai Khan returned to the Imperium, reunited with Guilliman, and was named Warmaster, while Evan and thousands of Adamantium Warriors survived Cawl’s Psi-Titan experiment.
