Amarkun had thrown plenty of troops at him: endless ranks of Immortals, powerful Destroyer Lords, and Canoptek Spyders.
None of it had worked. Most of the Necron Warriors could not even acquire their target.
All the human had to do was knock out a few command nodes as though he were beating up idiots, then let the terrifying plague devour the Necron army.
Only the Deathmarks had a chance of landing a hit, because the target could not see them at all. He could only detect them after they shot him.
Yet although their Neural Shredders were not entirely ineffective against him, the damage was pitifully small. They would have been better off shooting him with a Gauss Annihilator.
