A tiny, well-hidden warp rift opened, and a figure dressed in noble attire stepped out.
Bona gazed at Macragge before him.
This was the destination of his journey.
Horus's words had inspired him.
If, during the Siege of Terra, the Ultramarines had already been so numerous that even Horus, the Chaos Warmaster, had feared them...

Bona walked the streets of Macragge, carefully studying every corner.
The pedestrians walking along the streets, the shops lining them, and the aircraft flying overhead-all caught his attention.
Although Bona had not visited the various sectors since awakening, he greatly admired the atmosphere on Macragge.
It was prosperous and powerful. Compared with those outrageously ignorant Ecclesiarchy Worlds, this place possessed a rare air of reason.

The more he learned, the more Bona admired Roboute Guilliman.
It was hard to imagine that the policies and laws he had established ten thousand years ago remained the foundation of Ultramar's prosperity even now.
Bona had heard a few stories about Guilliman from Horus, of course, such as how he
