An enormous crescent-shaped warship drifted silently through space, its eerie green glow making it look like a ghost.
Beside the Throne, an Immortal standing motionless suddenly shuddered, its structure reconfiguring in an instant.
Then its living metal swiftly shifted into Trazyn's likeness.
A second later, several gauss beams struck, blasting Trazyn to pieces again.
"You're as brutal as ever, my friend," came Trazyn's mocking voice.
"Friends are welcome here, but I am not nearly so hospitable to thieves."
Seated high upon the Throne was none other than the Punishment King Amarkun, a figure spoken of in tales.
Data streamed through Amarkun's processing center, and in an instant, the Necron Lychguard surrounded the brazen intruder.
"Relax. Surely we have something to discuss."
"We have nothing to discuss!" Amarkun roared angrily, striking the floor with his Scepter.
The Gauss Cannons in the Necron Lychguard's hands began charging, ready to obliterate the intruder at any moment.
"Not even control of the Dark Throne?"
Trazyn could clearly tell that the Punishment King was tempted. The Gauss Cannons held by the Necron Lychguard around him had stopped charging.
"The Dark Throne? Offering such a steep price isn't your style," Amarkun said.

Trazyn waved his hand, and a holographic projection of Bona appeared on the floor.
"As long as you capture this fellow, I will personally hand over the Dark Throne Control Code."
After considering who could handle such a dangerous individual, Trazyn had concluded that only the Punishment King Amarkun, whose military achievements were illustrious even among the Necron Dynasty, was suitable.
