Exiled Immortal Revelations 10: Hongxia, Zixia, Jiuxia-The Women Xiao Hua Could Not Handle in the Immortal Realm

Exiled Immortal had foreshadowing in nearly every chapter, every paragraph, perhaps even every sentence. No matter how careful the reader, one careless moment could lead to a wrong guess about the story. Take Xiao Hua's arrangements for Hongxia Fairy, for instance—where exactly was her Ice Phoenix Palace? Two fellow Daoists in the review section had commented on it, and their chagrined expressions after guessing wrong practically let one see Tan Hua's secret little delight.

Many people might have mistakenly believed that Hongxia Fairy was on the Xiaoyu Continent, but in truth, Hongxia was on the Shenhua Continent. The reason lay in Tan Hua's little bit of careful planning, as well as Huang Tong's selfishly mischievous sense of humor. The specific evidence was as follows:

1. In "Exiled Immortal, Chapter 3963: Revisiting Three Peaks," Huang Tong laughed loudly: "This poor Daoist followed Fellow Daoist's suggestion and sealed off Ice Phoenix Palace, concealing it in an exceedingly secret place. Unless Hongxia Fairy leaves seclusion herself, no one will discover it! This poor Daoist never leaves a loose end when doing things!" Given Hongxia Fairy's current early Nascent Soul strength, it was almost impossible for things to be foolproof on the Xiaoyu Continent. Not only had the Four Great Continents become connected again, but the Four Great Continents and the Myriad Monster Realm had also been linked together. I. Xiao Hua's confidantes in different realms

In Exiled Immortal, Zhang Xiao Hua, namely True Person Xiao Hua, had different female confidantes in different realms.

1. For example, in the first volume, "Forgotten in the Rivers and Lakes," there was Zhang Xiao Hua's first love, Nie Qianyu; Meng, who had been struck by Di Shitian's Heart-Linking Curse and had a beauty mark at the corner of her lips; as well as Zhang Ping'er, Xia Qing, Peacock Chen Chen, and others.

2. In the second volume, "Xiaoyu Continent," there was Xue Xue, who self-destructed and died to save Xiao Hua; Hongxia Fairy, whose appearance resembled Meng's; Ziming, who was first his confidante and later, through a twist of fate, became his wife in the flesh; Jiuxia, whose beauty was beyond compare and whose wisdom was unmatched; Xun Shu, who was shy and bashful and dared not confess her feelings; Huang Mengxiang, who was passionate and bold enough that Xiao Hua could not handle her; and Mingyue, Hongxia Fairy's martial aunt, who worshipped the nameless Nascent Soul cultivator and had little stars shining from her eyes.

3. In the third volume, "Three Great Continents," there was Fairy Jing, who was suppressed after saving Xiao Hua; Xinxin, the ninth princess of Emperor Gouchen; and Princess Baihua, who possessed a little maidenly tenderness. At the Moon God Ruins, there was also that Mingyue Xin.

As for the Immortal Realm and the Primordial Divine Realm, Tan Hua had not provided enough text to judge which women Xiao Hua would encounter in the Immortal Realm. This article would therefore begin with the mortal world and the Cultivation World, examining whether Xiao Hua's so-called female confidantes could reach the Immortal Realm, meet him, and renew their old bonds.

II. Which female confidantes would renew their bonds with Xiao Hua in the Immortal Realm

For a female confidante to renew her bond with Xiao Hua in the Immortal Realm, she first had to meet one condition: she needed the talent to cultivate to the Tribulation Transcendence stage. Only by transcending tribulation and ascending could she possibly appear in the Immortal Realm.

1. Zhang Xiao Hua's female confidantes in the first volume, Ruins of Shenzhou

In the first volume, Ruins of Shenzhou, because the golden human figure appearing in the epilogue, "Visitor from Beyond the Heavens," was Xiao Hua after becoming a god, none of Zhang Xiao Hua's female confidantes from the first volume could possibly appear in the Immortal Realm. Nie Qianyu, who shared deep karma with Xiao Hua, and Meng might appear as fragments of memory in Xiao Hua's dreams, when he was seriously wounded, or within the inner demons that emerged during the Great Tribulation.

2. Xiao Hua's female confidantes on the Xiaoyu Continent in the second volume

a. Xue Xue

When Xiao Hua was pursued by two Nascent Soul cultivators, Xue Xue and Xiao Hua's master had no choice but to self-destruct to help him escape. Xue Xue was the first soul to enter Xiao Hua's space, causing the yin and yang halves of that space to separate and turning it into a true world. Therefore, as the mother of the yin side of the space behind Xiao Hua's head, Xue Xue would certainly awaken in the Immortal Realm as Xiao Hua's strength increased. The trigger for Xue Xue's awakening lay with the Underworld Judge and Star Moon Fairy's death. Star Moon Fairy's death was also the opportunity for Xu Zhi to become the Investiture Envoy for Xiao Hua's sixth Great Star Domain Investiture of Gods.

b. Hongxia Fairy

Hongxia Fairy had the same appearance as Meng and the same beauty mark. Hongxia Fairy would certainly appear in the Immortal Realm.

(1) During Xiao Hua's training in Ximing, he was plotted against by Kun Feiyan and consummated his marriage with Hongxia Fairy in Cold Ice Valley. Hongxia Fairy and Xiao Hua's nephew Zhang Jian both revealed the meridians throughout their bodies: "Xiao Hua's entire body shone red, while Hongxia Fairy's shone green. Amid the intertwined red and green radiance, a light screen shaped like a yin-yang fish appeared around their bodies. (2) When Hongxia Fairy and Xiao Hua traveled to Meng Mountain for training, Hongxia Fairy was injured. With Jiuxia's help, Xiao Hua remolded Hongxia Fairy's innate Spirit Body. For the specific account, refer to the chapters before and after "Exiled Immortal, Chapter 1547: Innate Spirit Body."

(3) When Xiao Hua returned like a king, he saved Hongxia Fairy from beneath the Four Spirit Blood Formation. Hongxia Fairy obtained Blood Essence, as well as the Most Sacred Bloodline that Xiao Hua had acquired in the Relic Realm. Thus, Tan Hua said in "Exiled Immortal, Chapter 3955: Kunlun Secret Realm": "Can the karma of that mole... continue in the Immortal Realm? That will depend on Hongxia Fairy's opportunity! The path to the heavens has already been laid beneath her feet. She is ready to spread her wings and soar!"

c. Jiuxia

Jiuxia was a descendant of the nine-tailed fox. When Xiao Hua had still been a low-level cultivator, she gave him the Sun Obscuring Art and the technique of controlling heaven and earth. Because of these, Xiao Hua slightly cultivated the Dao of Karma. Nine-tailed foxes understood yin and yang and excelled at transformation; in Xu Zhi's words, they were often associated with ancient experts who changed heaven and earth. As demonic creatures condensed from the world's utmost yin and utmost beauty, nine-tailed foxes only revealed their true appearance when they decided to follow someone for life. Jiuxia consummated her marriage with Xiao Hua in the Six Desires Heaven. Not only did she obtain many profound mysteries and raise her cultivation to six tails, but the child she bore would become the future Witch King. When Xiao Hua passed the Qingqiu Mountain inheritance he had obtained from Xu Zhi back to Jiuxia, Jiuxia called Xiao Hua the Sacred King. To borrow Tan Hua's words from "Exiled Immortal, Chapter 3775: Adorable Jiuxia": "Xiao Hua also carried the Sacred Nurture of the Qingqiu Mountain lineage. How could she not know... that her karma with this man... had only just begun!"

d. Huang Mengxiang, Xun Shu, Ziming

Ziming had consummated her marriage with Xiao Hua, but limited by her aptitude, she likely could not cultivate to Tribulation Transcendence, just like Xun Shu. Perhaps she would never meet Xiao Hua again. As for Huang Mengxiang, she possessed the Vermilion Bird bloodline of the Huang family of Tianmen Mountain. Her aptitude was difficult to judge. Even if she could ascend to the Immortal Realm, given Xiao Hua's handling of Huang Mengxiang in Skywatch City, it was probably impossible.

III. Xinxin and Fairy Jing in the third volume, Three Great Continents

Fairy Jing had already reincarnated. For all anyone knew, she might not even retain her memories from back then, so the possibility of renewing her bond with Xiao Hua in the Immortal Realm was small.

Xinxin, Emperor Gouchen's ninth princess, possessed the Black Origin Water-Control Banner and a cultivation method for Five Qi Returning to Origin. With her excellent aptitude, her responsibility during the world-destroying catastrophe of the Four Great Continents and Xiao Hua's tribulation-induced world destruction, she was truly an extraordinary woman.
