Naruto carried the carefully prepared Sweet and Sour Pork Tenderloin out of the kitchen and immediately spotted Sasuke sitting by the bed, apparently dozing off from exhaustion.

Hearing Naruto speak, Sasuke came to his senses and looked up.

"This is a dish made from pork tenderloin?" Sasuke's worldview wobbled a little.

"Yep."

Naruto set the Sweet and Sour Pork Tenderloin on the table, then served Sasuke a bowl of rice.

"This alone isn't enough to go with the rice. I'll stir-fry some Garlic Broccoli too. Start eating without me. I really mean it this time-once this stuff cools down, it sticks together and doesn't taste as good."

Seeing how serious Naruto looked, Sasuke nodded.

"Okay."

Less than five minutes later.

Naruto brought out a plate of Garlic Broccoli.

But when he came out and saw the empty plate on the table, he was dumbfounded.

That piping-hot, enormous plate of Sweet and Sour Pork Tenderloin had been polished off... in the time it took to take a dump?

Under Naruto's strange, astonished gaze, Sasuke wished he could crawl into a crack in the floor. This was so embarrassing.

"Wasn't that stuff hot?" Naruto sat down with a wry smile. "Don't eat food that hot next time. Keep doing it, and you could get esophageal cancer."

"Okay." Sasuke had no idea what esophageal cancer was, so he could only nod in acknowledgment.

"Um, sorry. I ate all the pork tenderloin."

Naruto smiled, not minding in the slightest. "No big deal. I know how to make it anyway. Whenever I want some, I can whip it up in minutes."

Hearing that, Sasuke immediately grew unhappy.

"I want to eat it every day too."

Sasuke had given no thought whatsoever to the consequences of saying that.

Those words could have some very serious consequences.
