Just as the Ancient One was wavering between shock and doubt, Doctor Doom and the others finished surrounding Tony and sprang into action. Following their earlier plan to the letter, Dormammu and Zarathos charged straight at Tony, engaging him head-on to keep him occupied.
Doctor Doom and Mephisto stood farther away and cast their spells. Two terrifying masses of energy gathered before them. Their mere presence sent violent ripples through space. It was hard to imagine just how devastating they would be once unleashed.
Watching their movements, Tony saw through their intentions at a glance. Their plan was hardly clever, after all. They were simply playing to their respective strengths and joining forces to overwhelm him.
A faint smile curled Tony's lips. "Nice plan. Let's see if you have the strength to pull it off."
