Boom!
Dormammu slammed into the ground. Not far away, the Ancient One was blasted back by the combined assault of Doctor Doom and the others, crashing down beside Tony.
The sudden turn of events brought the fighting to a halt. Doctor Doom and the others quickly gathered beside Dormammu, watching Tony with grave expressions.
Tony ignored them for the moment. Instead, he looked down at the Ancient One at his feet, a hint of helplessness flashing through his eyes.
"How did you lose so quickly?"
Coughing, the Ancient One forced herself to her feet and rolled her eyes at Tony. "Easy for you to say. Try it yourself."
For a moment, Tony had no comeback.
Fine, he admitted he had overestimated the Ancient One a little. He had thought she could wear Doctor Doom and the others down and hold out until he killed Dormammu.
But reality had proved that even the Ancient One had her limits.
Still, it did not matter. His plan had suffered a minor setback, but anyone he wanted dead could run to the ends of the earth and still find no escape.
So he stopped paying attention to the Ancient One and looked up at Doctor Doom and the others.
Seeing his expression, the Ancient One raised an eyebrow. Was he really going to give it a try?
At that thought, her interest was piqued, and she settled in to watch from the sidelines.
There was no way the Ancient One could be completely unbothered by Tony having screwed her over.
She was a sorcerer, not a saint. She felt joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure like any other living being. Her composure simply kept those emotions hidden most of the time.
Seeing Tony prepare to take on several opponents alone, she was naturally happy to
