Strange's gaze was riveted to the file.
Christine naturally noticed his eagerness, and she had intended to give Stephen the information anyway.
So she simply handed the documents to Strange.
"Thank you. Thank you so much." Strange took the documents with a sigh of relief.
Christine looked stunned. She had never imagined that the stubborn, arrogant Doctor Stephen could actually thank someone.
The old Stephen Strange would never have let even a single polite word pass his lips.
"Stephen, you've really changed a lot," Christine said gently.
"Well, if I could, I'd still rather go back to my old, ordinary life than get mixed up in this life where I might not survive another day."
Stephen opened the documents and focused on their contents.
Seeing this, Christine refrained from speaking again and disturbing his thoughts.
Neither the information listed there nor the format in which it was written belonged to any ordinary report.
Clearly, these documents had an unusual provenance.
"The Foundation, the 05 Parliament, the Registration Act Office, Ah Xing, a Foundation operative stationed in the United States..."
As Strange leafed through the information on the Foundation, it felt as though he was seeing a fuller picture of its world rather than merely reading a document.
The report contained not only information about the Foundation, but also brief introductions to the monsters and superhumans in the United States and across Blue Star.
Much of it consisted of detailed intelligence on the Foundation, including its special dispatch teams, the powerful figures who had appeared within its ranks, its mysterious council members, and more.
An organization dedicated to maintaining world peace and containing mysterious creatures?
That sounds like a pretty upright organization, doesn't it?
But when Strange read about the things the Foundation had done, he immediately overturned his first impression.
